This workshop will act as both an informational session on the foundations of mindfulness and as an opportunity for counselor self-care. Participants will learn the basics of mindfulness practice as well as explore techniques to implement with clients. The various therapeutic approaches with foundations in mindfulness will be reviewed, and different forms of mindful meditation will be practiced and explored leaving participants relaxed and peaceful at the end of the workshop.
This workshop is appropriate for all mental health professionals and counseling students.
