Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Classes
Our DBT skills groups are offered for a range of age groups and areas of focus. The classes are divided into four modules (distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and middle path) each lasting eight weeks and group membership requires a 24-week commitment for participation in each module. The first two weeks of each module are focused solely on mindfulness, being present in the current moment, and being where your feet are. Each client must be in individual therapy to attend group, and we do welcome clients with outside therapists.
DBT Groups Currently Available:
- DBT Adult Group, Thursdays 5:30-7:00pm
- DBT Group for Adolescent Girls, Mondays 5:00-6:30pm
- Processing Group for Mental Health Professionals, Fridays 11:00-12:30pm
We offer introduction workshops and six-to-eight week programs designed for beginner or more experienced individuals that want to deepen and strengthen their mindfulness practice. Programs are tailored to client and organizational needs to address anxiety, food and body image issues, addiction, and anxiety/depression.
